Routine Preventative Maintenance

When the power fails, make sure your generator is fully operational and running thanks to routine, preventative maintenance from King Power Systems in Kahului, Maui. By contracting our inspection team, we visit on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis to complete a detailed systematic inspection of your equipment with our 75-point check list. We utilize several different pieces of diagnostic equipment to analyze certain processes of the
generator to catch components before they fail. Thanks to our inspections the lifespan of your generator and its reliability is improved. All of our technicians are Cummins Power Generation™ factory trained who operate 24/7
without overtime charges or after hour rates for contract emergency calls. We currently offer our technical expertise to:

Fire Stations | Food Distribution Centers | Hospitals | Hotels | Medical Clinics | Military | Police Stations

Fuel Polishing

Keeping contaminants out of your generator is important in Maui's humid environment. That is why we offer periodic removal of emulsified water, micro-organisms, and organic and non-organic build up from the fuel tank. Using our custom built fuel polisher we remove all impurities with an activated alumina micron filter, a specialized algae filter, and double centrifuge 2micron filters. This way you save on fuel costs and don't have to drain the fuel and refill it. The cost savings are about 90% and it is better for the environment too.

Load Bank Testing

Ensure your diesel generator is running smoothly with an annual load bank test. Offered for any make or model you own, Loadbank is essential to counteract wet-stacking and carbon build up. This way you will increase the life of your generator's alternator and engine. The testing improves the engine's performance while decreasing oil and fuel consumption.  Loadbank testing is the only true test of how your generator will perform when you depend on it the most.

Yearly EPA Compliance

Save yourself from having to pay the non-compliance fines when you have our team inspect your home's generator. The EPA requires all standby generators to meet the Stationary Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines Area Source of Hazardous Air Pollutants regulations each year. Our technicians see to it that you are satisfying the compliance requirements by performing annual oil changes, a written maintenance plan, and practices for minimizing emissions.
